Dr. Nikhil Balram

Dr. Nikhil Balram is vice president and general manager of Marvell’s Digital Entertainment Business Unit in the Communications and Consumer Business Group. Dr. Balram was previously the chief technology officer with National Semiconductor’s displays group and most recently served as the general manager of their high-definition products division. He has more than eighteen years of experience and knowledge in digital image, video and display processing and has served as an executive with Faroudja, Sage, Genesis Microchip and SonicBlue. Dr. Balram holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and PhD in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
