88DE6010 Audio-Video Front-End IC
The Marvell 88DE6010 is a comprehensive baseband audio-video front-end for digital TVs and CE devices like home theater in a box (HTiB), home theater PC (HTPC), and digital projectors. It accepts multiple inputs including stereo-audio, analog video (composite, S-video and Component, SCART, VGA), and digital video (4 HDMI v1.4 inputs). The 88DE6010 selects the desired input and processes it to produce a high-quality digital AV output data via TTL.
The 88DE6010 can be interfaced seamlessly with Marvell’s media processors, and is a featured component of the ARMADA embedded Foresight Platform. The 88DE6010 also features a 2D/3D comb filter for decoding the worldwide analog video standards (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) and worldwide analog audio demodulator that supports NICAM, BTSC, FM standards. The 88DE6010 supports four HDMI v1.4 ports with one of the ports supporting audio return channel (ARC). Marvell’s Swift-View technology embedded in the chip enables the consumer to quickly re-view the content of the various devices connected to the input ports.
