Semiconductor Insights Selects Marvell Gigabit Switch for Product of the Year

Marvell Gigabit Ethernet Switch Reduces Manufacturers' SOC Cost While Maintaining SRAM Speed

Sunnyvale, California (June 10, 2002) — Marvell® (NASDAQ: MRVL), a technology leader in the development of extreme broadband communications solutions, today announced that it received Semiconductor Insight's prestigious INSIGHT award for the Most Innovative Memory Semiconductor Product for 2001. This award recognizes Marvell for its achievement in switch designs with the Company's advanced GalNet®-2+ GT-48360 Gigabit Ethernet switch.
