High-volume SMB Gateways

Marvell’s Discovery Innovation Series based on SMB in-a-box replaces SOHO and SMB applications that traditionally run on PC towers. The compact, scalable, low power and highly integrated MV78200 redefines performance and allows two devices to function on a single chip. The Marvell SMB all-in-one appliance supports open source reference design, works with any browser, and does not depend on an operating system (OS). Each application runs on a separate CPU and, if necessary, a separate OS. The two high speed CPU cores can communicate by an internal GbE port, just like any two separate boxes. For example, CPU1 can run an AP/Router, while CPU2 runs a variety of applications such as security filtering, mail gateway, Web 2.0, firewall, security, data, voice, or video. The low power usage of the MV78200 results in a fanless, green, environmentally-friendly SMB design.
