SR-8900

SR-8900 is a manufacturing-ready 9-slot multi-layer switching router. Based-on RADLAN's software and combined with the Marvell GalNet-2+ product family, SR-8900 enables OEMs to quickly bring enterprise-class Layer 2 and 4 Ethernet switches to the market with leading features and performance.

The silicon-based implementation embeds the critical routing functions along with sophisticated security, Quality of Service (QoS) and full-function gigabit wire-speed routing. The SR-8900 is the only complete system level solution that provides feature-rich and field proven wire-speed routing functionality for IP and IPX, including a customizable Java-based management system. From a workgroup departmental network, to a large network topology, the SR-8900 switching router meets the needs of the entire company by ensuring high performance and a flexible range of system configurations and uplink options, including Gigabit Ethernet and Packet over SONET.
