Marvell TopDog 802.11n IEEE Draft-Compliant WLAN Selected by D-Link

Broad Industry Acceptance solidifies Marvell’s Technical and Market Leadership

Santa Clara, California (April 13, 2006) – img vspace="15" hspace="5" border="0" align="right" src="/press/topdog_logo.jpg" alt="" />Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL), the leader in storage, communications and consumer silicon solutions, today announced the Marvell TopDog branded family of 802.11n IEEE draft-compliant products has been selected by D-Link for its Draft 802.11n product line.  Marvell TopDog is the industry’s first and fully compliant 802.11n IEEE draft compliant Wireless LAN (WLAN) solution. The volume deployment of Marvell based D-Link products this month represents the broad industry support for TopDog WLAN technology.  By working closely with industry leading OEMs on 802.11n IEEE draft compliant products, Marvell is helping develop an ecosystem of interoperable WLAN devices.

The D-Link products, featuring Marvell TopDog WLAN technology, include wireless routers and PC client cards. Marvell TopDog WLAN products deliver data rates between 300 to 600 Mbps and ethernet connectivity from 100Mbps to 1 Gbps.
