OCTEON II CN67XX Multi-Core MIPS64 Processors

The Marvell® OCTEON® II CN67XX family of multi-core MIPS64 processors targets high-performance, high-throughput, service-rich applications in secure data center, mobile internet, and borderless enterprise applications. The family includes six software and pin-compatible processors with 8 to 16 cnMIPS64 v2 cores. The CN67XX also offers over 60 application acceleration engines and the latest standards-based connectivity including PCIe Gen2, XAUI, Double-speed XAUI, RXAUI, SGMII, and Interlaken, providing major compute performance, throughput, power consumption, and services performance advantages over alternative solutions.

The CN67XX offers compelling compute performance as well as the highest throughput processing and services. Powerful control plane processing solutions are enabled with high-frequency cores up to 1.5GHz, large and highly-associative L1 and L2 caches, and up to 200Gbps of DDR3 DRAM bandwidth. Supported by industry-standard software toolchains and operating systems, the CN67XX offers 2X to 5X performance, power, and real-estate advantage over alternatives. OCTEON II family is fully software compatible with the widely-adopted OCTEON Plus family, enabling straightforward software reuse.
