Marvell Co-Founder Weili Dai Honored with the Gold Award for Technology Innovator of the Year by the American Business Awards for Women in Business
The premier business awards program in the U.S. recognized Ms. Dai for her vision and contributions in advancing technology innovation and her exemplary role for women in business
Santa Clara, California (November 12, 2012) – Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced that its Co-Founder, Weili Dai, has been honored with the gold award for Technology Innovator of the Year by the American Business Awards. The award was presented at the 9th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business gala on November 9th at New York’s Marriott Marquis Hotel.

The American Business Awards, more commonly known as the Stevie Awards, were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide. Ms. Dai is one of the most successful women entrepreneurs in the world today. Ms. Dai is a member of the executive committee for TechNet and Bay Area Council; sits on the board of the disaster relief organization, Give2Asia; and was named to the prestigious Committee of 100, an organization representing the most-influential Chinese Americans. Celebrated as the glue behind her company, family and community, Ms. Dai is the proud mother of two sons who are Electrical Engineering graduate students at UC Berkeley; Christopher and Nicholas are currently Ph.D candidates.
