Marvell Teams with Bloombase for LiquidSecurity Network HSM

Santa Clara, California (March 5, 2019) – Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL), today announced collaboration with Bloombase for its LiquidSecurity® Network Hardware Security Module (HSM) family for next generation data-at-rest security for cloud applications.  This alliance enables seamless integration of the Marvell LiquidSecurity Network HSM family with the Bloombase StoreSafe Intelligent Storage Firewall.

Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, Bloombase StoreSafe Intelligent Storage Firewall provides autonomous discovery, dynamic access control, and lifecycle cryptographic protection of sensitive data-at-rest, both structured and unstructured, managed in on-premises storage systems and off-premises cloud storage services.  Bloombase data-at-rest encryption technology coupled with the Marvell LiquidSecurity HSM offers an unprecedented combination of a turn-key, non-disruptive and application transparent stored data encryption solution with a powerful and centralized key management system.  This highly integrated offering is now available for private and hybrid cloud environments.

The Marvell LiquidSecurity Network HSM solution is designed for cloud data centers, providing the scalability, lights out management capabilities and high transactions/sec performance required in private or public environments.  This differentiated offering includes a simple, secure user interface for ease of management, rich networking support and flexible form factors.

“We are excited to partner with Bloombase to offer our customers the highest level of data security, agility and flexibility to scale,” said Tejinder Singh, general manager, Security Solutions at Marvell Semiconductor, Inc.  “Our combined solution seamlessly helps meet regulatory compliance requirements and significantly reduces total cost of ownership.”

“The issue of protecting sensitive data and meeting regulatory mandates is only going to get progressively more complicated with the increase in volume of data, and diversity of storage strategies and data center technologies,” said Sean Xiang, CEO, Bloombase.  “The integration between Marvell and Bloombase enables organizations to more effectively and seamlessly transition their data from traditional physical data centers to next-generation virtual, hyper-converged and cloud environments, while maintaining the same levels of security and control in the storage layer.”
