Marvell's ARMADA Mobile PXA1088LTE and PXA1801 Complete Verizon Wireless Certification for 4G LTE

Marvell's award winning and field proven 5-mode 4G LTE chip sets continue wide adoption by top mobile operators around the world

Santa Clara, California (May 14, 2014) – Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced that its ARMADA® Mobile PXA1088LTE (also known as PXA1920) and PXA1801completed the Verizon Wireless Chipset Certification Process for 4G LTE data devices. The high performance, award winning, 5-mode ARMADA Mobile PXA1088LTE single-chip System-on-Chip (SoC) and PXA1801 modem have been verified and now are acceptable for use on the Verizon’s 4G LTE network, continuing the chip sets wide adoption by top mobile operators worldwide. Both chipsets currently are shipping globally.

Earlier this year, the Marvell PXA1088LTE received the prestigious 2014 Global TD-LTE Initiative’s (GTI) Innovation Award from the global mobile operators and partners. This certification continues Marvell’s momentum in the 4G LTE market with top global operators and tier-one OEMs including Yulong Coolpad, Lenovo and Hisense.
