Summer at Marvell means one thing: welcoming a new class of interns. The company has established a strong global internship program that has roughly doubled in size over the past few years. This year’s cohort includes more than 500 interns from over 100 universities and schools across 16 countries.
During the program, interns gain hands-on experience working in collaborative teams, contributing to the development of leading-edge semiconductor solutions at a Fortune 500 company. The internship provides opportunities to connect with fellow interns to build community while learning about Marvell products and businesses directly from executive leaders.

Marvell continues to welcome a growing number of early-career professionals. In fact, 38% of the company’s hires last year were Gen Z. Marvell invests in interns, new graduates, and those early in their career, providing various professional development opportunities.
In honor of National Intern Day, let’s hear from some of the interns in the 2026 cohort.
“I found that people at Marvell are remarkably generous with their time and knowledge, and asking for help was often what let me push a project further than I'd planned,” says Market Intelligence Analyst Intern Grace Kim. “I learned that if I am confused, lost, or curious, I should just ask!”
Based in Santa Clara, California, Grace researches industry trends, competitive dynamics and market sizing across the semiconductor and data infrastructure markets to support teams across the company. Her work focuses on reimagining the market research process by leveraging new tools. “My biggest takeaway has been how much market intelligence is about triangulation. No single analyst source tells the whole story, and part of the job is learning to reconcile different firms' methodologies and assumptions to build a defensible picture of the market. Getting hands-on experience taught me to think critically about what numbers actually mean, not just what they say.”
Test Engineering Intern Hailey Anderson is also developing a new tool in Santa Clara. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed learning from my brilliant team members about how Marvell tests its products while developing a memory-optimizing tool that has the potential to improve chip efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.”
“I’ve also loved connecting with talented interns through Marvell’s thoughtfully designed intern program,” says Hailey, “and organizing volunteer trips to Second Harvest food bank.”

Based in Toronto, Canada, Digital Design Intern Arnav Patil and his team are developing SerDes die-to-die IPs that are used across Marvell. “The biggest thing I've learned at Marvell is how much AI has changed digital design,” he reflects. “At school, writing register-transfer level (RTL) meant burning energy on syntax, style, and debugging. At Marvell, AI handles that layer, which frees my mental bandwidth to focus on the bigger picture: what the design should do and why we are building it. Even when debugging, I can now focus on the root cause instead of tracing signals across modules. This shift to higher-level consideration of a design has allowed me to mature as an engineer and problem-solver much faster than I would have otherwise.”
As an IO ESD intern in Singapore, Brendan Alexander supports his team by exploring and implementing improvements to enhance the performance and reliability of Marvell ESD protection devices. “During my internship, I gained valuable hands-on experience in layout design, extraction, and simulation,” says Brendan. “One key takeaway was that meaningful engineering progress often comes through iterative experimentation and continuous refinement, with each result helping to shape the next step forward. This experience has deepened my technical understanding and also further strengthened my passion for the semiconductor industry!”

“My internship was a great experience,” says Hardware and Silicon Validation Intern Saravanavikas Dhandapani. He is based in Bangalore, India and executes tests to ensure integrated circuits are meeting functional and performative specifications. “I got the chance to be involved in real-life projects and debug sessions, which significantly improved my understanding of various hardware topics. I also learned to document debug sessions in an effective manner so they can be referenced in the future. The key takeaway I carry from this internship is, ‘Hardware requires patience; one who has patience and looks beyond the obvious becomes a good debugger.’”
